At Rural Development Friends Trust, we believe that access to proper clothing and warmth is not a privilege, but a basic human right.

Our Clothing & Blanket Donation Program is designed to bring comfort and dignity to those living in poverty—especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, the homeless, and low-income families. Through this initiative, we aim to collect and distribute usable clothes, winter wear, bed sheets, and blankets to communities across villages and slum areas.

We conduct regular donation drives where individuals and organizations can contribute new or gently used items in good condition. Our team ensures these donations are sorted, cleaned, and thoughtfully distributed based on need. Special drives are organized before winters, during monsoons, or in times of natural calamities to offer timely relief to affected families.

Beyond just the physical warmth, a fresh set of clothes or a clean blanket can instill self-esteem, a sense of normalcy, and emotional comfort—especially for children attending school, elderly sleeping on streets, or families who have lost everything in a disaster.

We also collaborate with schools, hostels, and shelters to identify those in need and ensure that no one is left behind due to lack of something as basic as clothing.
