At Rural Development Friends Trust, we believe that empowering women is not just about equality — it’s about building stronger families, healthier communities, and a more compassionate society. Our women empowerment initiatives aim to equip women with the tools, confidence, and support they need to transform their own lives and the lives of those around them.

We work closely with women from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, providing them access to:

• Vocational Training Programs
  We conduct training in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, food processing, and other income-generating skills, enabling women to earn a stable livelihood and gain financial independence.

• Health and Hygiene Awareness
  Our workshops and camps spread essential knowledge on women’s health, hygiene, menstrual care, and nutrition. We also distribute sanitary kits and offer medical support in remote areas.

• Legal Literacy and Rights Education
  Many women are unaware of their rights. We organize awareness sessions that educate them about their legal protections, domestic violence laws, child marriage regulations, and access to government schemes.

• Leadership and Confidence-Building Activities
  From storytelling circles to leadership camps, we encourage women to speak up, share their stories, and support each other, creating a ripple effect of empowerment in their communities.

• Support for Widows, Single Mothers, and Victims of Abuse
  We provide emotional and financial assistance to vulnerable women, including widows, single mothers, and survivors of domestic violence—offering them a safe space to rebuild their lives with dignity.
